On progressing to the Semi-finals South Cardiff were handed the test of beating local rivals Lake Macquarie that they did with an emphatic 3-0 victory and ease into the Solo Cup Final. The final will be between South Cardiff and Edgeworth FC who claimed the other final places in the Solo Cup Final.
