South Cardiff ran out winners at the weekend with a 1-0 over bottom of the league West Wallsend in the NBN State League. The game was described as scrappy but it helped South Cardiff into the all-important fourth spot in the league. It also help to have a mid-week win over Lake Macquarie 3-1 with six league games to go before the end of their season.Meanwhile in the Zone Premier League Cardiff City FC game at Morisset SC was a late postponement, but with Uni Mens FC winning they drop to second in the league table.
