Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay is in the market for a new goalkeeping coach after Martyn Margetson decided to join West Ham to take up the same position with the London club. He survived the cull of ex-managers Dave Jones backroom staff on the arrival of new boss Mackay, but sees his future elsewhere.
The former Cardiff City player and then goalkeeper coach joined the Bluebirds in July 2002 and ended his playing at the end of 2005/2006 season, but following the departure of then goalkeeping coach departure George Wood he took over the role.
Now Mackey will need a replacement will he now see Watford's Alec Chamberlain has an ideal replacement having stripped them of three members of his old backroom staff. Watford along with their manager has lost four members of staff to the Bluebirds.
