South Cardiff found Weston Workers too hard to beat on their travels Sunday and the final score was 3-1 for their troubles. Until this fixture, Cardiff had beaten their hosts three times this season. They stay fifth, but after Lake Macquarie winning, they are now four points behind the fourth place club and will need a late charge for a finals position end to the season.
Southy also made a new signing last week with after experienced right-side defender Chris Gazzard who had a falling out with is previous club Hamilton Olympic. They are away again next weekend to West Wallsend and need all the points to get their season back on track.
It was a 5-1 victory over Mayfield on their travels for Cardiff City FC, and they go back at the top of the table. With Swansea beating University previous leaders 3-0, and Cooks Hill United lost 2-1 dropping to third behind University with Cardiff now two pints clear of both.

5-1 well what a game two pens in the 1st 10 give Cardiff 2-0 lead Mayfield scored to make it 2-1 2-1(credit) but that was as close as it got as Cardiff dominated the game. The Tangerine ran away and won 5-1 in the end and to be honest it could have 10+, Cardiff missing a least 4 open goals(and when I say open I mean open, no keeper, no defenders) and numerous other chances butchered and I could go on all day, but great result in the end, pity it wasn't 9 points.
Next weekend round 11 game for the Tigers had a home at their Cardiff No2 Oval ground against Morisset
