Will it be Gabbidon?

Ex-City centre half Glenn Loovens doesn't fancy it by all accounts so could Danny Gabbidon make a return to Cardiff City has Cardiff boss Dave Jones searches for a new centre-half. It’s the press again with reports linking him with a rumoured move back to South Wales.

He left the Bluebirds for West Ham in July 2005 along with James Collins in a £3million transfer deal. His time at Upton Park has been plagued injury in 2008/09 he was out for the whole season but recently has made his way back into the first team.

Gabbidon has failed to agree a new contract with West Ham and will be free to find a new club in the summer. Jones already has five loan players at the club and can only pick five loan players to be in his matchday squad. It could be difficult with team selection and would mean player or players missing out depending on if Jones was to bring in loan players. The Premier League club could be willing to sell seeing he can walk away free in the summer, but then there are his wages to consider .
