Mixed fortunes Down-Under for the Cardiff's

South Cardiff came off second best when they made the trip to top of the table Broadmeadow Magic. The home team were 3-0 winners.

Fans comments on the game ..... First half was a dour affair with magic missing a couple of opportunities including an open goal. Second half magic just took complete control and ran riot. There passing and build up play is easily the best in the league and was truly on display yesterday. Southy never truly got their foot in the game and I can't remember them really even testing Carter bar long range shots. It seems when Southy go down a couple of goals they continue to resort to long ball tactics, frustrating to watch, but I still think magic would have won regardless.

Cardiff City FC continued form see them stay top of the Northern NSW Zone Premier League. They beat third place Newcastle University FC 2-0. Next weekend the will be another top of the table clash when Cooks Hill UFC travel to Cardiff City FC ground Cardiff Oval No2.

Something I like about the league set-up you have among in these leagues is the whole match day. They don't just play the senior game they also play Under 23' and reserves the same day making it a grand day out for a football fan. Is it something that could look into over here? Next season when Cardiff play Barnsley away why can the academy and reserves also travel and the same when teams travel to Cardiff.
