Wright keeping fit with the Bluebirds

According to Ipswich Town boss Paul Jewell ex-England keeper Richard Wright is training at Cardiff City keeping himself fit. He spent last season at Sheffield United where he made only two starts, both times being withdrawn midway through the game due to further injuries. I fact he spent most of last season out injured.

He had trained at Ipswich working on his fitness has he looking to his future as a free agent the Town boss Jewell said,

"I think Richard's gone to train with Cardiff. He's been here, he's a good character Richard, he lives locally and he's been training here with us doing him a favour, keeping him fit. He's been impressive in training."

He was training under the eye of then Ipswich goalkeeping coach James Hollman who is reported to be the new goalkeeping coach at Cardiff City, but I have not hear anything official. It suggested in the article that he impressed Jewel l, but he did have a vacancy in the goalkeeping squad.

Cardiff boss Malky Mackay was rumoured to be interested in a new keeper, but looks happy with what he has for now.
