Cardiff win finally

It is hard, god it is hard being a Cardiff City fan when you throw away a two goal lead and the game goes tits up and get beaten 3-2, but wait a minute a later goal you jump for joy a late goal, its 3-3 here comes extra time.

Cardiff were 2-0 up within 17 minutes was a walkover on the cards by the end of the first half it was looking like Huddersfield were out of it, but it is never that easy and by the 70 minute, the visitors had squared the game at 2-2. With two minutes of normal time left Huddersfield took the lead while Cardiff fans were celebrating archrivals Swansea being thrashed. In injury time a lifeline was thrown in the direction of the Bluebirds and Don Cowie was on hand to score the equalizer full-time score 3-3.

I hate extra time as a rule, but when it saves Cardiff City bacon, it is a godsend. Cardiff could not secure a win after 90 minute how would they do with only 30 minute to get a win or it would be the lottery of a penalty shootout.

The jittery Cardiff City fans did not have to wait long with Craig Conway firing Cardiff into a lead and the night was finished off when Don Cowie sealed it in the 117 minute. So Cardiff are in the 3rd round draw with top of the wish list Manchester United the draw will take place on Soccer Saturday.
