Saturday, 9 April Doncaster v Cardiff
After the great win over Derby County, the team looks to have come through without any injuries. So they will be at full strength for the trip to Doncaster. On paper it should be a three pointer Cardiff trashed Doncaster 4-0 at the start of the season at the CCS and since New Years Day they have only won two home games.
Having lost the last two games they have been drifting towards the bottom end of table since Christmas. They look to be safe from the drop, they are nine points clear of the relegation zone, but have to watch their back. I'm going to predict a 2-0 win for Cardiff.
Tuesday, 12 April Sheffield Utd v Cardiff
There is only 20 odd miles between Doncaster and Sheffield it would be beneficial if they stayed in the area instead of travelling up and back. It should be a win for the visitors they took a beating Monday night against QPR. There is another twist to this game United won their last two home games beating follow fellow promotion candidates, Nottingham Forest and Leeds respectively.
They are in deep trouble, third in the league a massive seven points from safely. Unless something dyer happens to the Cardiff squad this game I predict another win for Cardiff, I will go with a 2-1 victory.
Saturday, 16 April Cardiff v Portsmouth
Surprisingly Portsmouth have been wallowing mid-table all season. Even with all their troubles of the previous season they were expected to be in the mix for promotion this season. They have been stuck in the bottom half of the league table all season. They come to Cardiff with nothing to play for, expect pride. I think Cardiff at home will be too much for them 3-1.
Saturday, 23 April Cardiff v QPR
On my predictions so far Cardiff would come into the game off the back of three wins, I think most Cardiff fans would agree with my predictions so far. I expect QPR to still be top of the league table for the visit to the Cardiff City stadium, with Cardiff in second or third. Depending on previous game the Londoners could need to win the Championship.
The game will properly sell-out with a packed away end, my gut feeling is Cardiff will be lucky to get a point out of the game. If their promotion is secure at could be a different matter.
Monday, 25 April Preston v Cardiff
It will be a quick turn around for Cardiff game on Saturday and now Monday kick-off and another foot of the table battle. With the game over two weeks away at the moment Preston are on a run of three games undefeated, what the form will be when the two meet who knows. The home team are mounting a late attempt to escape the drop into Division One. Their pitch has come under-attack over the last few weeks as unplayable and giving an advantage to the home team.
Cardiff need to win all their final seven games, we have the players and hopefully the form to win this game and I will be banking on a win. A nerve jingling 1-0 win.
Monday, 2 May Cardiff v Middlesbrough, 17:15
Sky Sport cameras will be descending on the Cardiff City Stadium for this one. It's unlikely, but I would be great if this game was coincide with Cardiff winning promotion. Middlesbrough were among the favorite to be vying for a-off spot, but they never looked to be in contention if fact have been in the bottom end of the table all season.
Last home game on much pressure then, it has to be a win, but who knows this far ahead with the team will be? A full squad or will the team racked with injuries/suspension I have no Crystal ball, but just wish us Cardiff fans where in the place I expect QPR to be in, promoted. I predict 1-1 or a 2-1 deafet
Saturday, 7 May Burnley v Cardiff, 12:45
The last time Cardiff won a final away game of the season was back in 2001/2002, time for a change. Depending on the situation of the two clubs and promotion this game could be featured on TV. That will be up to Sky Sports and the BBC who will pick which games after the last before the final week of the season. I will stick with my belief that Cardiff will not fail this season and will end the season with a victory and celebrate promotion in front of their jubilant fans in the ground and millions around the world. I predict 3-1 victory.
