Top of the Championship table QPR could only manage a draw at home to Derby last night the game ended all square at 0-0. It would have been handy if Derby could have win, but all eyes now will be squarely sighted on the Cardiff City Stadium for the top of the table clash on Saturday.
It should be a spicy encounter at the CCS on Saturday the Londoners can guarantee promotion if they win while the Bluebirds would move within five points of the leaders with three games to go. Neil Warnock talking about the trip to Wales on Saturday said
"This is what we're in it for,"
"Everybody talks about pressure, but I'm enjoying it and loving every minute of it, me. Full house. Eight points clear with four games to go? There's a lot worse pressure.
"I think we've got four great games to come. There will be end-to-end stuff and chances galore. Cardiff have to beat us with Norwich and Reading breathing down their neck."
"I love Cardiff and I like the Welsh. It's got good memories for me and I just want to go there now and do well. I'm sure a few other Championship sides will be cheering for us on Saturday.
"It will be a good atmosphere. There's no chance of Cardiff putting 10 men behind the ball and going for a point is there? So I think it will be a good game.
"You look at the forward line they've got and I don't think there's anybody better in the whole division. They are a lot better than most Premier League clubs."
The Cardiff City boss Dave Jones wants to finish top of the Championship and believes it is still possible. It would take a massive reversal of fortunes for QPR on the field, but it's not impossible if Cardiff were to win Saturday. There are so many ifs or buts surrounding this season promotion race, last season it was all sown up with Newcastle and West Brom promoted.
