Mirror linking Marlon King to Bluebirds

The Daily Mirror is again the source of transfer rumour with Coventry Marlon King linked with a loan move to the Bluebirds. Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is in a search for a replacement for the injured Michael Chopra who will miss the rest of the season.

According to reports early in the week Coventry are struggling for fund the striker wages and the future of the Coventry chairman is in doubt after crisis talks over funding. Since signing for Coventry in September he has played a total of twenty-two times, scoring seven goals but his disciplinary record as seen him red carded twice this season. Kirkland deal hits a hiccup
