History is not written to run in an authentic since when humans ran as an achievement or for fitness. Since humans have actually been able to walk and run, but not recorded as a sporting achievement to find the fastest and strongest. There is a version that said originated from the Greeks who were hit by the war between the Greeks and Persians in the city Marathonas Greek island of Egina. Persian forces defeat and Greek troops who won the war, ordered one of his army to bring the message. The messenger ran to Athens along the 40.8 km (25.4 miles) a day to proclaim his victory when he got in the city, shouting that eventually collapsed and died. To commemorate the victory of the war and to respect the messenger then the race was held for some period and increasingly developed into a modern sports achievement and split into various branches run.
The legend says that the sport was first contested marathon in the Olympics held in Athens was won by Eucles and on the next race was won by Philippides. After experiencing a variety of events and time, the contest turned into the Olympics and in the next period dubbed the modern Olympics. The sport was developed into several branches which are divided into a certain mileage. In its development the sport run is divided into short-distance sprint (sprint), medium distance running (middle distance), distance running (long distance). Short distance running distance running subdivided into 50m, 55m, 60m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m. In the middle distance divided 800m, 1500m, 3,000 m. For long-distance running is divided into 500m, 10,000, half marathon, and marathon. Currently, more rapid development of longer and tend to be combined with other sports like running hurdles, triathlon, Pentathlon, heptathlon, decathlon.
While the activity of running as a fitness / physical maintenance of the body was not recorded, whether from humans appeared on earth already has activities running in his life or after a new offspring no events to run. But logically it can be said that human beings have the legs for the activity of the small course has to run around to have fun or pursuing something. From the results of running that then she felt the benefits after activity then the next man to maintain the activities run in his life. Human tendency when growing up activity also ran after the animals by hunting prey using tools such as spears or stone.
The more modern humans live in an era of fewer and fewer of walking and running. Eventually realizing that human beings have always needed by the body run in activities to maintain kesehatanya. So that becomes the tendency that people choose sports run in his life to be a habit or a hobby. Now, in the modern era of human desire is not only used as a mere hobby, but turned into a club and a healthy lifestyle and even to socialize. Which means that not only sports run for achievement are developed and combined with other sports, but running non-performance sports (for fitness) have also developed combined with other human activities. A time will come running sports clubs non achievement into lifestyle trends such as club bike to work or body-building club.

The History Of Running
Marines In Afghanistan Do A Lip Dub Britney Spears
Our men and women in uniform stationed abroad continue to make the most of their downtime by doing awesome lipdubs of famous pop songs.
This time Marines in Afghanistan took on Britney Spears' new track, "Hold It Against Me." While the remake isn't quite as inspired as the now legendary video their compatriots made of Lady GaGa's "Telephone", it's still an excellent effort. We applaud it wholeheartedly.
Our favorite moment comes at 1:15. Semper fierce.

Cardiff drop to third
Cardiff City dropped down to third tonight after Norwich City beat local rivals Ipswich Town 5-1 and disappointed thousand and thousand of Cardiff City fans. Norwich jump above Cardiff and are how two points clear of third placed Bluebirds, but it will mean nothing if Cardiff win their last four games.
It's another wait game tomorrow has Cardiff fans have to sit back and wait on the outcome of another game this time Reading who face a trip to Leeds. A win for Reading will see them go third and Cardiff drop too fourth. Reading have a better goal difference, but if they win all their remaining game they will be level on points with Cardiff and it would then to goal difference.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would say this, Come on Leeds

R's on the Road.............. To Cardiff City.
On Saturday Rangers' could seal their place in the Premier League if they beat a Cardiff City side that are in a rich vain of form and with a strong home record in their favour. The R's have the ideal opportunity to put Monday night's 0-0 draw with Derby behind them and give the club the result that the fans are desperate for as sweet revenge for THAT play off final in 2003.
Incidentally, when Neil Warnock took Sheffield United to the Premier League in 2006 it was a win against Cardiff, at Cardiff.......... will history repeat itself????
Nearly 2000 R's supporters travel to the game and many more watching at home as the game is Live on the BBC at lunchtime.
Here's a quick preview of what to expect ahead of Saturday's game.
The Stadium.
Current Capacity – 26,828
Having had Ninian Park as home for t 99 years the club embarked on their move across the road to their new home on the opening day of last season. Normal service was soon resumed as they left off, with a 4-0 thrashing of Scunthorpe United.
Since then only two goals have been conceded, both in the League Cup. Also they have never scored less than three in all competitive games at their new home, that was until their 1-0 defeat at home to Newcastle the previous Sunday.
The new stadium cost £48 million pounds to build and also has foundations set ready for expansion, if needed to, to become a 60,000 all seater stadium.
This design is very much a new style bowl, lacking with any distinctive features but the finish to the stadium is very clean and tidy.
R’s fans will be housed in the corner between the Ninian Stand and Grange Stand, so I would expect an exciting yet intimidating reception, that is of course if the atmosphere from Ninian Park has been carried across the road.
The History between the teams.
At Cardiff City (33)
Cardiff 16
QPR 9
Draw 8
Friday 17th November 2006 will always hold a place in Rangers hearts. The game was at Ninian Park and with the Sky cameras there one of our bright prospects enjoyed what was his finest moment, and all his last goal in the famous blue and white hoops. Yes you've guessed it, the day that Ray Jones scored a dramatic 88th minute winner for the Superhoops and secured what would prove to be a vital 3points in a relegation threatened season.
Rangers have enjoyed mixed fortunes at this ground in recent years having won 4, lost 2 and drawn 3 in the previous 9 meetings (not including the play off final) in South Wales, could this be another win on the board for the Superhoops?
How to get there.
By Car:- For those of you with the benefit of having sat nav the all important post code is CF11 8AZ
To avoid driving through the centre of Cardiff, leave the M4 at junction 33 and take the A4232 towards Cardiff/Barry. Keep on the A4232 towards Cardiff and then leave the dual carriageway at the B4267 exit, signposted 'Cardiff (Leckwith) Athletics Stadium'. Follow the signs for the stadium and after about half a mile you will see the Cardiff City Stadium over on your right.
By Train:- The closest train station to the ground is just around the corner and is called Ninian Park Halt station. This is a local line service only. You can catch trains for this from Cardiff Central. The ground is only five minutes’ walk away from the stadium.
Pubs 'n' Grub.
Most of the pubs near to the ground can be quite intimidating for away supporters and are not recommended. However there is the Lansdowne Hotel on Beda Road which is a ten minute walk away from the stadium.
There are no nearby restaurants or take aways nearby (from what I remember) so you may have to settle for a burger van or food inside the ground.
I haven’t got a list of food prices for inside the ground but I can inform you that it is £3 a pint inside the ground, a rare treat for a Cardiff visit.
Cardiff go worldwide Saturday
Lucky for Cardiff City fans around the country and worldwide Saturdays all important fixture is live on the BBC plus other TV outlets around the world and the internet. There will be a full house at the Cardiff City Stadium and the sun should be beating down on the stadium. With the season ending so tightly it is good that the excitement is being shared, listening to the radio is OK, but watching live on TV is much better.
The last home game of the season against Middlesbrough will get an airing on Sky Sports, but fans can have a lie in with a 17:15pm kick-off. Wouldn't just be great for Cardiff to win promotion at the game, there is nothing better than that.
It could not end there with TV coverage the last game of the season away to Burnley could also hit the TV screen. It depends on games of interest to Sky Sports and I think the BBC eg promotion/relegation on the final day fixtures. A desidtion on which games will by made a week or so before the last weekend of the season.
With the game kick-off's at 12:45 UK time it leaves some exiled fans around the world some early morning starts while others it will be early evenings or later night starts
- Auckland (New Zealand) 23:45pm Saturday
- Sydney (Australia) 21:45pm Saturday
- Hong Kong (China) 19:45pm Saturday
- Honolulu (Hawaii) 01.45am Saturday
- Los Angeles (USA) 04:45am Saturday
- Vancouver (Canada) 04:45am Saturday
- Denver (USA) 05:45am Saturday
- New York (USA) 07:45am Saturday
- Kabul, (Afghanistan) 16:15pm Saturday
- Moscow (Russia) 15:45pm Saturday
If Cardiff City boss Dave Jones plans come to fruition it could be the last league game on terrestrial television for a while if Cardiff win promotion.

Adkins.Baraclough.Daws.Knill.The Season so far.....Part 2
Alan Knill, the former Iron defender, was the man the board wanted from the minute that Baraclough left. The only problem was he was doing well with a Bury team that was flying high in League 2. The board wanted him straight away to give him time to look at the squad, to prepare them for what looked like a inevitable drop into League 1. It seemed at the start that Knill was happy to wait for the opportunity until the end of the season. But the Iron managed to persuade the Bury board to let him leave for an undisclosed sum, i hate that word that has slipped into football, UNDISCLOSED, a stupid word, but at least it lets both sets of fans think they have got the upper hand in negotiations ! My memories of Knill were that of a no-nonsense defender. If the balls in danger, get rid of it, simple really. That's exactly what you got from him as a player and thats how we needed him to be as Manager.
His first game was Norwich away. Not the easiest match for your first in charge. To be fair to Knill he couldn't take much blame for the result. 6-0. 6-0. 6-0. Having watched the team in training myself on the Thursday it was Tony Daws and Lee Turnbull that had took the training and Knill and his Assistant Chris Brass took a watching brief. The result though couldn't really be blamed on anyone to be honest with you, Norwich were on top form that day, i weren't there but it sounded embarrassing on the radio. I was a little bit surprised to hear Knill come out and say what he really thought, that some of the players weren't up to it.
To make things worse that was followed by the visit of Champions elect QPR to Glanford Park. The feel around the ground was very similar to the day the Iron went to Blackpool in our League One Championship season. There were more Scunny fans there that day than i can remember. All decked out with flags, scarves, inflatables with faces painted. It was like we had taken over ! We were over confident and got beat, much the same as QPR would on this hot spring afternoon. Going 1-0 down after less than 10 minutes you'd have been inclined to think we'd fall apart, much like we had on more than one occasion this year. But this was Knill's team, we looked fantastic. We looked confident, we looked like we could score as many as we wanted. Our attackers were allowed to attack, whilst our defenders were set to defend.Michael O'Connor showed what we had been missing for so long with an outstanding performance in centre mid. He ran the show and scored a screamer of a goal form outside the box,on what was a bad day all round for the team destined for the Prem. After beating them 4-1 Neil Warnock himself praised how good we were whilst stating how bad his own team were in his own Warnock way. You could only imagine what Nigel Adkins would have been like after a result like that, he'd have been bouncing off the walls, but Knill is different. He praises good performances, whilst not being afraid to let certain people know they're not good enough. Calling a spade a spade is what was needed as a wake up call for certain players ! After that confidence must have been high, but surely we were too far behind to stay up ? Saying that though, with winnable games against Palace and Coventry coming up, some in the camp and at Team Telegraph (myself included) were confident that a victory at Selhurst Park would see us well into the Easter schedule. If we could come away only 3 points behind the Eagles than you had to be confident that we had the momentum needed to push our relegation rivals all the way to the end of the season, whilst a defeat would leave us with too much to do and needing a miracle !
