F-35 plane performs first ever vertical landing





The Lockheed Martin-designed F-35 has successfully performed a vertical landing for the first time, following nearly a decade of hype, ballooning costs, and delays. The Marine Corps would like to start training pilots on the plane this fall, but the program could face a year long delay because of cost overruns and other hiccups. Delays or not, the video of a stealth fighter floating down from the sky looks pretty sweet.
