Xabi Alonso is lucky the bottom third of his leg is still attached to his body after this terrible, terrible lunge during last Friday's match between Spain and the Czech Republic. Tomas Hubschman was shown a straight red for the act, which he appeared to immediately regret. Alonso, who scored earlier, had to come out of the match, as well.
Though Alonso wasn't made available for Spain's match against Scotland on Tuesday, he is in the team for Real Madrid's game against Betis on Saturday.
